The trek reaches an altitude of approximately 5,364 meters, providing panoramic views of iconic peaks like Pumori, Lhotse, Nuptse, Lobuche, and Everest itself. The journey begins with a scenic 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla or a 20-minute flight from Manthali, depending on the season. The trek officially starts and ends in Lukla, following the Dudh Koshi River through Sagarmatha National Park to Namche Bazaar, the main trading hub and acclimatization stop in the Everest region.
The challenging trek rewards you with views of verdant forests, terraced farmlands, and towering mountains. After acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar, the trek continues through Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, and then to Dingboche and Lobuche.
