Our Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Gurkha Arms Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. We are a registered travel agency based in Pokhara, Nepal. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully:

1. Booking

Bookings can be made through our website, via email, or in person at our office. To confirm a trip, we require a 20% advance payment of the total trip cost. The remaining balance must be paid before departure. We will issue a confirmation letter once we receive the booking form and advance payment.

2. Payment

We accept payments through the following methods:

  • Cash: Both Nepali and foreign currencies are accepted.

  • Credit Card: We accept Visa and MasterCard.

  • Bank Transfer: Payments can be transferred to our bank account.

3. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your trip, please notify us in writing (via email or fax) at least 2 weeks prior to the departure date. Cancellation fees apply as follows:

·      More than 30 days before departure: 15% of the total trip cost.

·      15-30 days before departure: 20% of the total trip cost.

·      7-14 days before departure: 25% of the total trip cost.

·      Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.

If we must cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or an alternative trip option of equal value.

4. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for all clients. It should cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter evacuation, and loss of luggage. Please ensure your insurance policy is adequate for the duration of your trip.

5. Itinerary Alteration and Flight Delays

We reserve the right to alter the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or political unrest. In case of flight delays or cancellations, we will assist with accommodation and food costs if the delay occurs before the trip starts. However, clients are responsible for these costs if the delay occurs after the trip begins.

6. Visa and Passport

Clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the return date and an appropriate Nepalese visa. We are not responsible for any issues arising from invalid passports or visas.

7. Extra Expenses

Clients are responsible for extra expenses such as tips, personal shopping, extra nights, and other personal costs incurred during the trip.

8. Complaints and Issues

If you encounter any issues during the trip, please inform your guide or team leader immediately. We value your feedback and will address any concerns promptly.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Gurkha Arms Tours and Travels reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Clients are advised to review our website regularly for any changes.

10. Risk and Liabilities

We strive to provide the best services for a memorable journey. However, we are not responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to government restrictions, landslides, road blockages, floods, political unrest, flight cancellations, or delays. Extra costs arising from such events will be borne by the clients.
