This journey offers an authentic experience as you explore the dynamic scenery of the Gokyo Valley, home to a series of pristine glacial lakes. The first lake, Longpongo, sits at an elevation of 4,690m, while the second, Taboche Tsho, dazzles with its turquoise-blue waters. This trek takes you along peaceful, off-the-beaten paths, culminating in the Gokyo Valley, where the sunrise and sunset over Mount Everest and surrounding peaks from Gokyo Ri (5,357m) are simply awe-inspiring. The tranquility of these glacial lakes, particularly in the afternoon, adds a special touch to the adventure.
