Today, you'll enjoy a beautiful 7-hour drive from Kathmandu to the enchanting city of Pokhara, famously known as the "City of Lakes." The route is filled with stunning views of the Trishuli River, lush green landscapes, terraced farms, and quaint hillside towns. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you’ll take a taxi to your hotel. After settling in, feel free to wander around and discover the lovely restaurants by the lakeside.
Today, you’ll embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which will take about 7 hours. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful views of the Trishuli River, terraced fields, and lush green forests, as well as charming hillside towns. Once you arrive in Pokhara, a taxi will take you to your hotel. After settling in, feel free to explore the lovely lakeside restaurants and soak in the stunning views around you.
Leaving Kagbeni, you’ll walk through charming old Tibetan villages, lush apple orchards, and fields dotted with grazing yaks and sheep, all set against a backdrop of breathtaking landscapes. As you reach Jharkot, take some time to explore this ancient village and its beautiful Buddhist monastery with stunning Gompas. A short climb up stone steps will bring you to Muktinath, where you'll be rewarded with views of the world’s highest cross trek, Thorong La Pass. Muktinath is a significant pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, featuring a lovely temple, several monasteries, and the 108 sacred water spouts. You’ll spend the night at a cozy trekking lodge in Muktinath, where you can soak in the incredible mountain views and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

As you leave the rocky hills and high alpine areas behind, you'll cross the Kaligandaki Valley and arrive at Kagbeni village. Here, you'll experience the unique blend of Tibetan and Gurung cultures. You'll spend the night at a cozy trekking lodge, getting some rest for the adventures that await you.
